Now runs and drives on my driveway!

Hi all with new grandchildren and being out of the UK part of last year no work was done. Yes its back to ordering up a few parts and getting it ready for an MOT. After not doing much with it over the last two years it finally runs and drives, at least on my drive. Some things to do before I book it in for the MOT, temperature gauge, speedometer, seat webbing. Change the oils etc and see if I can move the pedal box upwards to give my feet more room, but ill do that after the seat webbing. Parts are on order hopefully ill get these remaining bits done in the next couple of weeks, as for the pedal box I read this blog Blog – Madison kit car rebuild (mymadison.uk) and he moved his up 40cm sounds interesting. Otherwise I might take out the accelerator pedal heat it up and put a bend in it to give me more room. At the moment my feet are fighting for the pedals instead of operating one I hit two! P.S in case your wondering the temperature gauge, fuel and oil pressure is on one gauge sitting on the LHS clock space, which of course you cant see very well from the drivers seat! But it does look period and I want it to work. The speedometer is only a 8cm diameter unit probably works fine but the cable is binding, ill see how accurate it is when the cars on the road. Hopefully an update in a few weeks when it has its MOT.
