Need a bit of tlc on seating

Looking for what I paid £4.5k

I am in the process of buying a VW based Maddison, and wonderd if someone might give the advice on what I need to look out for when purchasing one of these amazing looking cars. Are spares easily available for example, does the bodywork flex and crack in any specific places, knowing that the engine is bullet proof, what should I look out for when considering one of these.

Hi anyone know where to get the original bonnet latches, I would like to replace mine there quite rusty. Thinking about stripping them and spraying them in white.

I'm rather late finding this website and joining, with my family having had my Madison since Dec 16 (my father bought it as a Christmas present for my then 75 year old mother!), but after a lot of fun driving it now is the time to sell it.

I'm getting the car sorted out for the listings/detail needed to sell over the next couple of weeks when back to my father's house in West Sussex, close to Petworth/Chichester, but if anyone is interested or knows someone wanting one for the fun we all know they are please let me know.

I'm looking to refresh the suspension in my Ford based Roadster as its a bit tired now, has anyone done this? If so, which bushings set did you use and where did you purchase?

Currently looking to sell my Madison. Belonged to my dad who kept in A1 condition. Selling due to lack of space and time. vw based, 1600 cc chromed engine, no rust, wax oiled yearly. Won many shows. Looking for around the £7000 mark.
