The Madison broke new ground in going to America for its styling inspiration. Although not a replica of anything in particular, it
drew heavily on the 1939 Packard 120 convertible for the distinctive
radiator shell and the bonnet lines. That aside, it was all pure Trickett
but still managed to escape the traditional British influence to achieve a form that screamed Hollywood from every angle.
